The "Seductress of Slay", Sepia Jewel...
This ageless treasure was born with a smoldering demeanor.
Sepia Jewel is an award-winning international burlesque performer who took the scene by storm in 2016. At 55 years old, Sepia was looking for something to help her thrive again after taking a hiatus from dancing, modeling, acting, and clothing design. She found her joy again in Coco L'Amour's burlesque class and quickly became a standout student.
In less than two years, Sepia's first student solo, "Endangered Species," became a signature act. She won Nudie Nubie's SF in 2017 and captured the Fresh Face Feature International at Vancouver International Burlesque Festival and 2nd Runner-up at Humboldt Burlesque Festival in 2018. Sepia also bared her soul at BHOF Movers, Shakers, and Innovators showcase. As a former member of Bless Your Heart Burlesque, Sepia co-produced the Showgirl Sunday Dinner Podcast with Twirlisha Devine. Her captivating vulnerability has earned her the title of San Diego's Seductress of Slay, leaving trails of glitter on stages worldwide.
Outside of burlesque, Sepia has used her sewing skills, taught to her by her mother at a young age, to create dazzling costumes. She was a dancer and costume designer for The San Diego Ebony Elite's and was also in a singing and rapping group in the 90's that was signed to Epic Records. Her talent and natural beauty are evident in her lyrics, "Mother Nature did a HELL of a job on ME!"
